[赈灾募捐] URGENT APPEAL Helping China in the Aftermath
On May 12, a devastating earthquake rocked China, leaving close to 5 million residents of southwest China without a home and hundreds of thousands injured. As urgent search-and-rescue teams continue nonstop, the death toll escalates with no end in sight. China’s state council estimates the number of dead could reach a staggering 50,000. The heartbreak continued, unrelenting.
Although this catastrophic event struck halfway across the world, it is time now for us to unite as one global community and help those suffering unimaginable loss.
“Love through Education Foundation” (www.lovethruedu.org) is a public charity (Charity Business No: 85797 1169 RR000). We have set up a Sichuan School Re-building Fund to help the school-less children in the disaster area.
We will issue tax-credit receipt to any donation over $20 with donor’s name and address given after the donation is received, payable to “Love Through Education Foundation”.
